Two men, 28 year old Keith Lewis and 23 year old Marvin Nunez, who were allegedly involved in the shooting of Frank Sinclair Jr, were charged with attempted murder when they appeared today in the Magistrate's Court.
Lewis alone was charged with abetment to commit murder, aggravated assault, wounding and use of deadly means of harm. Magistrate Albert Hoare remanded them until August 26th because there is no bail for those accused of firearm offences.
On Sunday July 17 Sinclair reported to the police that he was walking on McKay Boulevard between Jones Street and Diego Street when a man who was standing by the corner fired several shots at him. Sinclair was shot in both legs. He was transported to the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital where he was admitted to ward.
