Sulph Charged For Harm
posted (July 25, 2011)
Moses Sulph: you may know him as a political activist; a member of COLA or even as a disgruntled former employee of the Government of Belize. What you may not know is that Moses Sulph is also a good Samaritan. Or at least that's what he's arguing in court. You see, this morning Sulph was charged with Harm after a woman claimed that he physically assaulted her on the night of Thursday July 21st. Edita Sanedra says both she and Sulph were at his Flamboyant Street home when the two of them got into a misunderstanding and Sulph pushed her in the chest. A doctor has since classified Sanedra's injury as Harm. Court reports are that Sulph had offered to let the woman stay at his house as a favor…a favor he says she abused by having too many male friends over. Sulph pleaded not guilty to the charge and has since been released on bail of seven hundred dollars. The case has been adjourned until October fourth.
