As this amateur video shows, the blaze devoured a partial cement, plycem and wooden bungalow measuring 34 by 22. A family of four were inside the home at the time of the fire, the mother, father and two children. They escaped unhurt - but the building was a write-off. The homeowner's name is 56 year old Jean Claude Perfits - a construction worker. He told police he was awakened by his son who told him that the living room was on fire. He tried to put it out but the fire raged out of control.
