Belize's national under 17 basketball team came out of the 2011 Centro Basket tournament in sixth place - out of eight teams.
The final game was played last night in Puerto Rico and edged out Mexico to come in first.
The Belize team went two and three overall - and while it was not tour de force team performance, we note that at the individual level, Belize had two of the tournament's top three scorers, two of the top three rebounders, #2 in steals, #1 in three pointers and number three in assists.
Those top scorers are Devin Daly and Tariq Middleton, Devin Daly and Brian White for rebounds, Tariq Middleton for three pionters and steals and Tre-Anthony Moses for assists.
