And with the Independence celebrations, all the country's nonresident Ambassadors are in Belize to pay their respects.
But the Austrian Non-Resident Ambassador to Belize, Alfred Langle also brought gifts: he today presented two violins, with bows and cases to Foreign Minister Wilfred Elrington, and NICH Music Director, Colville Young, Jr.
Langle expressed his government's pleasure in making the contribution, and says he is currently working on bringing one of Austria's highly regarded violin professors from the University of Music Vienna, to give a musical workshop and master classes to local musicians.
The violins will go towards a national orchestra that is being set up by the Institute.
