This afternoon in Belmopan Belize's national football selection faced Grenada in a world cup qualifier.
The game was played in Belmopan and started at 3:30.
Grenada dominated, with a final score of four to one. They scored two first half goals and two in the second half. Belize scored its only goal in the second half by Ryan Simpson. For the first time in the world cup qualifiers, Deon Mcauley did not score in the game - and he told us a last minute line-up change by the coach hurt their defence and cost them the game.
Team Belize has to re-gather itself rather quickly, it next plays Guatemala on Tuesday in Guatemala City.
