It happened around 10 o'clock this morning between mile 40 and 41. 34 year old Randy Hyde told police, he was driving his green Toyota 4Runner - traveling from the direction of Belize City to Belmopan -when he experienced a blowout on the right front wheel of his vehicle. He lost control of the vehicle and collided into a white Mitsubishi SUV coming from the other direction - which was driven at the time by 35 year old Miguel Usher. Usher had one passenger inside his vehicle. All three men received minor injuries. Both vehicles are extensively damaged.
