They were having a conversation in the living room, when two dark complexion men entered the house, one armed with a 9mm Pistol. The men told them to lie on the floor and demanded money. Hillger then heard two gunshots coming from the direction of where his friend was. Not realizing that his friend had been shot twice, he remained on the ground while one kept guard over him and the other ransacked the house looking for money.

Hillger received a stab wound to his left arm during the attack. Both assailants escaped. Hillger then transported Weohrle to the K.H.M.H with his assistance of a friend, where he is presently hospitalized in a stable, but serious condition.
