Last night we told you about 29 year old Daryl Cayetano who the police alleged had thrown down and run away from a bag containing 293 grammes of high grade marijuana.
He was charged with drug trafficking when he appeared in the #2 Magistrate's Court. Cayetano pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released on bail of six thousand dollars with his case adjourned to February 27th.
The GSU say they pulled up on him on Castle street yesterday but when they got there, he ran. He was apprehended and taken to where they claim to have seen him throwing a bag on Kelly Street while running away. The bag was retrieved and it contained 293 grams - more than half a pound of weed.
