Hon. Witz Caught Engaging In Conduct Unbecoming
posted (January 30, 2012)
This weekend Cayo South Area Representative Ramon Witz was caught engaging in behavior most unbecoming. Witz was caught on cell phone camera tearing down a constellation of PUP signs in Valley of Peace on private property. It is not a pretty sight, but - despite the fact that a man is seen protesting in the clip - Witz told us that he got permission from the owner to bring down the pup flag because they did not want it in their yard, and he claims that the pup put it up without permission.

Again, even if they did - it seems Witz didn't have to do it personally! But he did, and at the end of the clip he is seen arguing with someone who was capturing the whole episode.

But to buttress his story that the people were hoodwinked, he took a camera out to Teakettle where one homeowner asked his people to take down their signs. She told the camera why:

Home Owner
"When they painted my house I wasn't here. I work in Placencia and it is my daughter that had done it, when she called me that had already painted it. I don't want the sign in my yard. I am giving full permission to take it down, and I want it down. I rather a UDP flag up because I am a UDP."

Reporter
"I notice your house is painted blue and white."

Home Owner
"I never gave permission to paint it, so I want the color off the house as quick as they could do it."

That tape was provided by Witz - and the one with the tearing down by the PUP.
