And while Hoy is hitting the ground running, the Prime Minister and Queen's Square incumbent Dean Barrow is not in quite the same position.
He's never lost in Queen Square and does not have to campaign with anything like the intensity that Hoy will have to show.
Next week Monday he's travelling with his wife to Miami, Florida where she will be receiving continuing treatment for stage 3 breast cancer.
The Prime Minister will return on Friday the 10th. Hon. Gaspar Vega will be the acting Prime Minister while Barrow is out of the country.
