And the Belize Coalition to Save our Natural Heritage seems to have a similar idea. Although the Coalition failed in its effort to trigger a referendum, it will try again - this time by carrying out a national People's Referendum allowing all registered Belizeans to voice their opinion on this issue on February 24th. The Coalition is aiming to get the opinion of at least 10% of all registered voters as it tries to meet its ultimate goal - to achieve a ban on offshore drilling. The locations of voting booths across the country will be broadcasted shortly.
