Reports have been swirling since Tuesday that Merlene Bailey Martinez, the CEO of Social Security Board, was terminated.
Today the Amandala confirmed that chairman Lois young has confirmed that the board of directors has voted to terminate her.
When we spoke to Bailey Martinez yesterday she told us no decision had been communicated to her.
Internal auditor Denise Mahler did not face the same fate, as the Amandala reports that Mahler has returned to work.
