Raphael Martinez - Public Relations Officer, Ministry of Police
"This happened on Friday night, another unfortunate incident where we had some people socializing at the corner of North Front Street and Pinks Alley - the little park just opposite the City Council. Mr. Norris Flowers along with Michael Staine - several other people were there socializing - when a dark colored vehicle came from the direction of the Tourism Village, and somebody from that vehicle opened fire on the crowd, injuring both these men. One was actually injured in his upper calf, and the other one was injured in his hand. So, we are still running some investigations on this, and nobody has been detained regarding this incident."

Both men were treated and released from the KHMH.
