Cayo Police Constable Francis Aldana, is facing criminal charges after he struck a 15 year-old minor inside the police station last week Wednesday.
The Cayo Star reports that the minor was brought into the station because he was misbehaving, and as a result, the family wanted him to be detained as a deterrent.
Well, they got more than they bargained for when Aldana reportedly punched the minor in his stomach, punched him the face, and stomped him on the left leg before throwing him into the holding cell. And it was all caught on surveillance cameras inside the police station.
Aldana reportedly admitted to his commanding officer while under questioning that he got angry when he heard that the young man allegedly pulled a knife at his mother.
