Inspector Fitzroy Yearwood - Police Press Officer
"Patrick Brian, a 47 year-old taxi driver, was driving his Geo Prism car on Wilson Street. He had his family members with him, along with 2 passengers. When they met a junction on Wilson Street, with a street that runs between Kelly and Wilson Street, a gunman opened fire on the vehicle which caused Brian, a minor, and his common-law wife to suffer injuries. They went to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment, and I know that the minor received a gunshot one of his legs. The female also got a leg injury."

Reporter
"The minor, we understand is a 9 months-old. Is that correct?"

Inspector Fitzroy Yearwood
"Yes a 9-months-old child. Investigators are still looking for clues in that. We know that Wilson Street is a very dark, secluded street. Whenever you drive through that area at that time of night, it's almost not possible to traffic."

So far police are unable to come up with a motive for last night's shooting.
