There was another shooting in the city last night - and again, it happened at the edge of the Lake Independence neighborhood.
At 9:45 last night, 27 year old Omar Martinez of mile two and a half on the western Highway was with two friends when an unknown man came out of the bushes and fired six shots at them. Martinez was hit in the left ankle. Fortunately, his injuries were minor and he was treated and released form the KHMH.
