Woman Allegedly Knocked Down And Drove over Her Baby's Daddy
posted (August 29, 2012)
Since 2010, there have been two cases of women killing their boyfriends or husbands - and tonight there is another: a woman accused of killing her baby's daddy.

29 year-old Lyndon Morrison was knocked down and killed last night - and all sources say it's his baby's mother who did it.

At the time, he was on a motorbike with his new girlfriend - and she was seriously injured. 7News has been following the story, and even though the families didn't want to talk, here's what we found out today:

Daniel Ortiz Reporting

From this angle, the red car on your screen looks as though it's just parked waiting for the owner to get in and leave. But police say that this vehicle was used as a weapon to kill 29 year-old Lyndon Morrison, and injure his current girlfriend Sochyl Sosa.

And the woman who police say intentionally knocked them down is none other than Morrison ex-girlfriend, and the mother of his child, 26 year-old Calaney Flowers.

The vehicle looks as though it is in excellent condition, but closer inspection shows telling signs of the violent accident which happened last night.

At around 10 p.m., Morrison and Sosa were travelling on Freetown road on his signature motorcycle - seen in this photo.

Flowers allegedly followed them in her car, and when they arrived in front Central Assembly of God, she slammed her car into Morrison's cycle sending both of them flying into the air.

Flowers reportedly didn't even stop to view the damage she caused, and she sped off. Sources close to the family tell 7News that she drove to Morrison's family home immediately after the accident, where she reported to them what she had done.

Both Morrison and Sosa sustained major injuries because of the accident - which is clearly seen by extensive damage to his motorcycle, and the smashed up helmets - and they were both rushed to the hospital.

2 hours later, he succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family and friends to grieve his loss.

At this stage, no one wants to explain what could have caused Flowers, who is the mother of a 7 months' old baby - and who is also gainfully employed - to kill the father of her child in such a terrible way.

Both families have staunchly declined comment, but we did get to speak off the record to Flowers' friends who are upset about the rumors which are spreading rampantly.

But rumors aside, police say she did it, and as a result, she is detained by police while she awaits slew of charges, which also includes murder.

Flowers is still detained by police and it is expected that she will be charged and arraigned tomorrow.

Our archives show that Sochyl Sosa, who is still receiving treatment at the KHMH, has been in an accident before which ended in tragedy.

In March of last year, Sosa was the passenger in a car, which flipped - causing one person to die. She received head and body injuries.
