The Belize Mexico joint commission met last week at the Princess Casino near the Belize Mexico border.
According to a Mexican newspaper, they discussed the new bridge that will connect the two countries.
The Mexican newspaper reports that the bridge is ready but cannot be used because the roadwords on the Belize side are not yet finished.
The new international bridge called is called "Chactemal".
The Mexican paper reports that the outflow of Belizeans to Quintana Roo is an average of 1.3 million a year while about 250 000 -700 thousands Mexicans cross annually into Belize, mostly the free zone.
