One member of the House of Representatives on the UDP side of the floor who was missing from Today's fiery House Meeting was Foreign Minister Wilfred Elrington.
That's because he attended the 67th Regular Meeting of General Assembly of the United Nations which was held in New York.
While at the UN General Assembly meeting, Minister Elrington met with the Secretary General of the Organization of American States, José Miguel Insulza.
Among the issues they addressed in that meeting was a discussion on the political context in the region, particularly, the issue between Belize and Guatemala over the territorial dispute.
Later in the afternoon, Secretary General Insulza headed a meeting between Foreign Minister Elrington and his Guatemalan counterpart Harold Caballero.
