Man On Bike, Man In Car Teamed Up For Ladyville Shooting

Tonight, 18 year-old Raheem Crawford and 25 year-old Mason Patnett are in prison after they were arraigned for allegedly shooting a man in Ladyville.

According to police, 21 year-old Marvin Bol reported that he was in a yard on Dove Street on Saturday, December 1. He said that he was speaking to a friend when a black car and a man on the bicycle approached the yard. The car then stopped, and the driver of the vehicle got out. He then handed a firearm to the man on the bicycle, who then immediately fired several shots at Bol, hitting him in the right shoulder.

Both men then made their escape, and Bol was rushed to the hospital and successfully treated for his wound. Police investigated this incident, and they arrested and charged Crawford and Patnett with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and wounding. Patnett was additionally charged with abetment to commit murder.

They were arraigned before Senior Magistrate Frazer today, who remanded them to prison until their next court date, which is scheduled for January 15, 2013.
