Now, it's not like the police are going to compete against BBOC…so what is the bus going to be used for? Officer Commanding Elodio Aragon explained:

"It is a bus that is much needed for our department and you all know the police department is always involve in the movement of police officers whether it be for operations or whether it be for things like funeral yesterday for Mr. Escalante - this bus will come in very handy for us so that we could assist in seeing that our police officers are moved in a comfortable bus - a good working bus."

"It's valued about BZ$20,000.00. Given the current crime situation in Belize the bank wanted to do whatever we could to assist the police in fighting crime and violence and when we are approached by them to assist we were eager to do what we could and fortunately we were able to make this donation today to them."
