Two men were murdered last night, one in Hattieville, the other in Belize City. We'll tell you about those shortly, but first to the story of a man who was shot this morning at a busy intersection.
This morning at 10:30, Ronald Rivers was fixing his Ford Escape at the Bel-China UNO gas station when two men reportedly rode up on bicycle and shot him in the face. Rivers slumped over the back seat and was rushed to the hospital. He somehow survived and is listed in a critical condition. We are told his prognosis is encouraging as he was reportedly shot through the cheek.
The motive for the shooting is not known - but reports say the vehicle had shut down at the gas station from earlier in the morning - and he had been trying to fix it.
