Over the past week a group of young Belizean entrepreneurs have been participating in a workshop sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with the Embassy of Israel.
The workshop is aimed at generating creative ideas for the cultural industry. The workshop is called "Business Lab, Focused on Cultural Enterprises" and today we found out how this entrepreneurial initiative can positively affect the society and our communities.

"I am very happy to arrive here again to Belize, this time to be part of a workshop given by 2 Israeli experts on economic or business laboratories together with the organization of Y.A.B.T with its branch here in Belize. As the Israeli technical assistant agency Machave, has very good close relations with the Y.A.B.T world organization to promote business. We have our knowledge on business. We helped our rural part in Israel through incentives from the government, and from the private sector to promote and advance, and develop the business in rural areas. This way, we can show Belizeans the Israeli way. It's not like we teach how to do; it's to show what was the Israeli way. The economy of Israel is relatively stable in these times of economic crisis in the world. Israel is not rich, never was and will not be in the short period. But, we keep our economy stable, and that is also thanks to people like the experts who came with the methodologies on how to promote business in rural areas."
