When we left you last night, the Football Federation of Belize was at a difficult crossroads: Trinidad's National Football Team refused to play on the substandard pitch at the MCC, and the only other option is the field at the FFB Stadium which is booked out for the LOVE FM Bandfest.
Well, something had to give, and at an emergency meeting last night the FFB Executive agreed to play the game after the Bandfest. So, the Trinidad versus Belize friendly will be played at 8:00 pm at FFB Stadium in Belmopan. The official release announcing the change of venue was sent out at 3:00 this morning from FFB Headquarters. This plays it a little close to the end of Bandfest which usually wraps up at around 6:00, but the FFB is confident it can pull it off.
Tickets for the game are being sold at FFB Headquarters. Team jerseys will also be on sale. If you can't make it out there, the game will air live on Channel 7...
