The Police Senior Command says it is looking into a situation where a police constable posted a picture of himself on Facebook in uniform, apparently in a police station pointing a gun at his own head. We're blurring his face because as a police spokesperson told us, they are not sure if the case calls out for counseling or disciplinary action. The spokesperson said the senior command is not taking the case lightly but wants to hear from the officer first, to find out if the constable has a genuine problem –requiring therapy, or if he just got caught up in a Facebook failure. Police are said to be coming up with a policy on media in general, including social media.
