Today, music men and a municipal leader were honoured by the Governor General in an investiture ceremony.
Frank Lizama was honoured for his contribution to art, education and politics while the GG's son and celebrated musician Colville Young Jr. was appointed for his contribution to education and music. Sam Hamilton received the insignia for Member of the British Empire for his contribution to music.
