The novelty of the Belikin Calendar has faded over time - it's not the big deal that was when it was first launched over a decade ago. But, still, even though slick and sexy images of all kinds have proliferated all around us, the Calendar retains a certain cultural cachet, a niche all its own. On Friday night at the launch of the 2014 version, Daniel Ortiz went looking for the answer to what's behind the mystique.
