22 year-old Felicia Chen, the woman who is accused of killing her 3 children, will stand trial next year in the April Session of the Supreme Court. That was the result of a preliminary inquiry done today before the Chief Magistrate.
The prosecutor presented all the evidence against Chen including witness statements from her only living daughter who is six, and other authorities involved in the case. Presented also were copies of the birth and death certificates of the children along with pictures, and a protection order.
When the defence attorney, Antoinette Moore, was asked if they had any alibi witnesses to present to the court, Moore replied that they didn't have any.
As we've reported, in April of this year, Chen allegedly took her 3 babies, Triana, Thomas, and Trinaya Teul to the Belizean beach where she drowned them. Her 6 year-old daughter reportedly saw the whole incident unfold.
