Hansel’s Mom Is Worried Sick

17 year-old Hansel Garcia, a resident of Dangriga Town has been missing for 3 weeks now, and his family is worried sick about him. His mother, Indira Martinez, has made an official police report, and she continues to search frantically for him. Today, she came all the way from Dangriga to speak to us about her son who has never gone more than a few days without contacting her. She told us that she is hoping for the best, but expecting the worse because Hansel had a quarrel with someone from the Town, which allegedly escalated to death threats before he went missing. Here's her story:

"At this moment I don't Hansel is hiding and I don't think he is playing a game because he knows that I am a person who worries about them. That is why he always try you come and see me or he let his dad know that he is okay."

"What I want to know is that what they have done with him. I want them to at least give me his body so I can make a closure within myself and my heart because I know something is wrong with my son."

"If anybody sees him I am pleading and asking to please call me at 636 -6761 or my mom's phone number is 502-2340 - anybody. Even if he hears the message, Hansel if you hear it please let me know that you are living because I am worrying and I haven't sleep for nights now. I can't sleep and I can't eat. I only pick on the food so that I can gain strength. I just try take a little nap on the bus while coming because I haven't slept for days now because from Monday I got a funny sign and he was on my mind that I know something wrong with my son."
