Orange Walk Police continue to investigate the execution style murder of 31 year-old Stephen Kuylen Jr., and news tonight is that they are no closer to figuring out why the gunmen killed him.
As we reported, at around 9:30 on Tuesday night, Kuylen stepped out of his house on 6th street in the Pasadita area, and that's when 2 men ambushed and shot him at close range in the head. They stole his cellular phone and licensed 9mm weapon, before disappearing into the night.
We spoke to Inspector Julius Cantun via phone tonight, and he told us that investigators are hard at work trying to gather intelligence, but so far, they've not unearthed any significant lead which they can pursue.
