Since 2005, the Police Department has been trying to encourage positive behaviour in young people by giving them incentives for doing the right things.
Today, the first winner of this season was introduced to the media today.
She is Zipporah Taylor, a 4th Form Business Student at Edward P. Yorke High School, and to note the announcement, it was made at her school this morning.
7News attended, and spoke with Taylor about being chosen.
Taylor was chosen as by Police Precinct #4 after being nominated by one of her teachers at E. P. Yorke. She will take part in the 8th Annual National Ceremony to be held later this year, where she may be chosen as one of 10 national winners who are doing the right thing.
