No one is detained for Wednesday morning's murder of 22 year old Belize City resident Patrick Bevans. Police say they are still interviewing people from the area.
Bevans was the third murder in the area in three weeks – and residents say it is because of escalating tensions initiated by affiliates of a notorious city gang which is trying to make inroads into Jane Usher.
To try and curtail further violence, police have installed a mobile command center in the heart of the area.
