PM Has Auditor General's Preliminary Report
posted (May 7, 2014)

But before any talk of subpoena, right now the Prime Minister is in possession of the preliminary report from the Auditor General.  That was confirmed in her letter to COLA – which she says qualifies it as a exempt document because presumably, he will share it with Cabinet.  But, Immigration Minister Godwin Hulse today told us that it hasn't been shared yet:

Hon. Godwin Hulse - Minister of Immigration
"The preliminary report has been submitted to the Prime Minister and not to the Cabinet yet. And of course, the final report will come to the Cabinet before it gets to the House. Then, it will go to the House, then the Senate, and then it goes to the public."

Jules Vasquez
"Have you had a chance to look at it?"

Hon. Godwin Hulse
"No yet."

Jules Vasquez
"Are you aware of any new disclosures or new information that may be in there? I am only aware of the same things we knew when we did our own investigations there. I am sure - because she has communicated with our ministry - that there will be some administrative highlights that she brings. But, that we also know."

There is no date for a house meeting at which the report would be tabled.
