Orange Walk police are seeking the help of the public to investigate who knocked down and killed 68 year-old Santiago Cocom.
ON SATURDAY NIGHT, The trial farm resident was on Queen Victoria Avenue, and was trying to cross the street when a vehicle ran him over and dragged him a few yards away from the point of impact. Instead of stopping and rending aid, the driver of the vehicle sped off, and Cocom was left to die.
Police say that they have a description of a vehicle and a license plate that they are currently trying to track down.
