Compared to the preceding weekend, the city was relatively crime free this weekend. Police only reported one shooting: 21-year-old Kelly street resident Shane Fisher was shot to the abdomen and buttocks as he stood in front of Kick Down Fence at the end of Dean Street. He told police that a creole male person that he knows stepped to him and fired several shots with a sawed off shotgun.
Fisher was admitted to ward in a stable condition. Police have a suspect they are looking for.
