And police haven't made any arrest for that first murder, nor do they - at this time - have anyone detained for last night's murder. Today Sergeant Ismael Westby from Precinct Two CIB briefed the media on what police know so far about the case:..

"Last night 7th July, 2014, sometime around 12:25pm police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they found the lifeless body of Leon Burgess of a Street at the back of Holy Emmanuel area with suspected gunshot wounds to the upper back and to the head. Initial investigations reveal that Leon Burgess was at his premises along with his girlfriend where some shots rang out and as a result he received the said injuries whilst inside the said house. Our investigations also revealed that during this incident the scene was process and 6 expended shells were recovered from the scene along with 2 slugs. The matter is under investigation."

"Do you believe that it was only one person or a group persons who committed the act?"

"At this moment due to the investigation that have been conducted within the area; canvassing and looking at different possible reasons why this incident had occurred, so far we have not gotten any leads to any possible suspects. Probably it could be oneor more."

"Can you tell us if Burgess was affiliated with any gang?"
Sergeant Ismael Westby
"In the past Burgess have been known to the police, to the law in respect to involving with criminal activities and gang activities, but we at this present moment cannot say whether this is one of the issues arising this incident."
