CYNK Trading Halted By SEC, But Belize Connection Intriguing
posted (July 11, 2014)
Last night we told you about the international business buzz created around the soaring stock of a dubious tech company called CYNK, claiming to be based at the Matalon Building in Belize City.

Since then, Matalon's management has written to the company asking about its true whereabouts, and they replied "The address is being removed. Our error - apologies."

So it's not really headquartered at the Matalon, and has never been - but Titan International Securities is. That is a licensed, Trading in Securities company that's been unwittingly dragged into this mess because of CYNK's bogus address listing.

Titan sent out a release today saying it has nothing whatsoever to do with CYNK, does not know and has never had an affiliation with CYNK and no shares of CYNK have ever been traded at, by or though Titan. Titan adds that it has never had a complaint filed against it.

But while Titan is legit, what is the story behind CYNK's Belizean connection? If it's not at the Matalon, and it's not a registered securities trader in Belize - why does it continue to reference Belize? Well, it might be the identity of its President, Secretary, Treasurer and Director. We can't say they are all Belizeans, more like, he is all Belizean: because all those posts are held by one man, former fisheries officer Javier Romero.

The disco sure statement says he has been a fisheries officer since 2009, but we have learned from the fisheries department that he was a ranger at the Hol Chan Marine reserve and was let go in 2013. Since then, he is believed to have gone to live in the US. Interpol and other agencies called the fisheries department today asking about his employment there.

The Securities and Exchange Commission - which regulates stock trading in the US - today shut down trading in CYNK which has zero assets, no revenue and one employee, yet has soared to a $6 billion dollar valuation.
