The audit team going in will be reviewing a period of financial management during the tenure of the former Director of Finance Carlos Perrera.
As we told you a few weeks ago, Perrera is no longer at KHMH, and that it was a board decision. Today, we asked the Chair, and she explained the nature of his departure:

"Could you tell us the manner of his leaving the KHMH?"

"What I can tell you is that Mr. Perrera is no longer at the KHMH and we have advertised the post. We have received some applications and we will review those next week."

"Ma'am there had been reports, unconfirmed, that the Board was at odds with Mr. Perrera for various reasons. There were trips apparently taken without authorization and different things with a financial undertone. Could you confirm or deny those reports?"

"There have been concerns, yes. Some of the questions have been answered and some of them have not. And so we mutually agreed to terminate his employment."
