Kaina Martinez is one of 12 athletes who will Represent Belize. But the representative who will take the Belizean flag and fly it at the games for the rest of the world to see will be British Born Katy Sealy.
A release from the National Olympic Committee says, "At an Executive Meeting held by the National Olympic Committee on Saturday, July 12th, heptathlete Katy Sealy was selected as the flag bearer for Belize at the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremonies."
As we've told you Sealy is a 23 year-old British Citizen, who has Belizean parentage. She lives in Eastern England, and she has been training for years as a heptathlete.
