Two Guatemalan minors were found with a rifle in the Caracol Archeological Reserve on Monday.

A joint B.D.F and Friends for Conservation Development patrol came upon 4 men sitting around a fire in the reserve at 10:40 a.m. As the team approached, two ran away but they were able to capture the 2 others. They found a .22 rifle loaded with a magazine and thirteen live rounds as well as a plastic bag containing forty .22 live rounds. Both minors ages 15 and 17 of Nuevo Nacimiento of el Paraiso PetÃ©n, Guatemala were charged for keeping a firearm and Ammunition without a Gun License.
