We've confirmed that during the course of our newscast, there was a murder which happened in Hopkins Village, in the Stann Creek District.
Information is sketchy at this time but we've been told that a teacher and his wife were the victims of a home invasion, and in the course of the crime, the woman was killed. The teacher is currently receiving medical treatment, and police currently processing the scene.
