Police: Hon. Faber's Accuser Withdrew the Complaint
posted (September 8, 2014)
And while that's the allegation that the 25 YEAR OLD made against Patrick Faber during the weekend, today, when the media asked the Police Press Officer about it, he was very tight-lipped. He told us that the report has been withdrawn, and so police cannot disclose the nature of its contents. No matter how hard we tried, he wouldn't give anything else on the topic:

Mike Rudon, Ch5
"Could we ask about the situation where we understand that there was a complaint made in the Ladyville Police Station against Minister of Education Patrick Faber? Could you confirm if that report was made?"

Rafael Martinez, Police Press Officer
"A report was made in deed and was subsequently withdrawn."

Mike Rudon, Ch5
"Could you tell us the substance of that report or could you give us any information at all about that report?"

Rafael Martinez, Police Press Officer
"A report was made and it was withdrawn. Hence meaning that it does not exist."

Mike Rudon, Ch5
"But it existed and it was made. Could you tell us the timeline when it was made and when it was withdrawn?"

Rafael Martinez, Police Press Officer
"I will not comment any further than that."

Reporter
"Are you concerned that because this involves a minister that this person may have been threaten or intimidated in any form or fashion to have withdrawn the statement. I know this is a very fair question concerning the fact that this involves a huge public figure."

Rafael Martinez, Police Press Officer
"I totally understand where you are coming from, but I don't want to speculate. There are several instances and it occurs at a daily basis here in the police department where several reports are made and a withdrawn almost immediately or later on. But this would not be the first report that has been made and was subsequently withdrawn, so that's all I am going to say on that."

Mike Rudon, Ch5
"So you wouldn't be able to tell us what time it was withdrawn?"

Rafael Martinez, Police Press Officer
"No sir."

Reporter
"In a situation like this, do you all in the domestic unit to probably look into it and to see if this woman was intimidated and things like this maybe won't happen again?"

Rafael Martinez, Police Press Officer
"If it warrants it and he/she whoever it is wants to make a report, we are here, we answer whatever report and we try as best as possible to follow it up as well. We are open across the board. If you have a report that was withdrawn we cannot comment on it, simple."

Mike Rudon, Ch5
"Could you tell us if the police did any investigation at all in relation to that report?"

Rafael Martinez, Police Press Officer
"If a report has been withdrawn you cannot investigate it."
