The auditor general is also looking into the acquisition of an X-Ray machine and other supplies at the KHMH for what are reported to be exorbitant prices. That investigation is also examining the actions of a well-connected UDP who was a pivotal figure who had a senior post at the KHMH.

The only thing that I can assure you or I can state to the public is that the Ministry of Health is the only ones that send our auditors to check at our hospitals because we are not afraid of anything and if there is a strong UDP like what you mentioned doing any mismanagement he has to pay for it and that's what we are doing right now."
