Case Against Cop For Corruption. Did He Do It For McAfee?
posted (September 16, 2014)
In May of 2012, we told you about 44 year old Police Corporal Darius Martinez who was arrested for attempting to corrupt an officer, resisting arrest and using obscene language. Martinez was allegedly trying to bribe a member of the GSU to give him information concerning the investigation into the infamous John McAfee case. Well, today his no case submission was denied by Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith. His attorney Anthony Sylvester made the submission over a month ago saying that the recorded conversation between Martinez and the GSU officer showed nothing said that alluded to the intent to corrupt. Next Week Tuesday, PC Martinez will present his defense.

The chief magistrate in her ruling noted that the prosecution established a prime facie case against him.
