The city's other murder happened on Saturday night. Lincoln Sabido was killed less than a block from his home on Moya Street in Belize City. It happened just after 10:00 when his family says the 30 year old got a text message from a female to come to the corner of Flamboyant Street. But when he went out there, he was shot multiple times. He was rushed to the KHMH but died on the way. His family didn't want to talk today - and police say they have no suspects.
Sabido had been charged twice for two separate murders in 2007 and 2008 - but got off both times. In May of this year, he was back before the court - accused of robbing a Chinese grocer.
Notably, the weekend's other murder victim, Harrison Smith was charged for murder in 2006.
