51 year-old Pablo Castillo was fishing undersized conch, and last week Tuesday, the Fisheries Department caught him with a batch of the illegal fisheries product.
It happened at around 7:30 a.m., when Castillo reported to the Northern Fishermen Cooperative. Fisheries Officers found him with 41 undersized conch, and so, they charged him with fisheries offences.
He was arraigned today before Magistrate Dale Cayetano, where he pleaded guilty and was fined a total of $1,730, which he must pay by January 31, 2015.
