DPP Returns After Long Leave
posted (October 27, 2014)
Today, after being on leave for 3 months, Cheryl-Lynn Vidal was officially back on the job as the Director of Public Prosecutions.

There was some confusion caused when she left because Attorney General Wilfred Elrington told the media that she applied for study leave. Today, she clarified to us that she went on vacation leave. She said that she had accumulated 104 vacation days over her tenure as a public officer which she had not taken. She decided to take 74 days from that, and her leave officially ended last week Friday.
