posted (October 28, 2014)
Yesterday 28 year old Ron Haylock was sentenced to two years in jail for stealing a BDF's visa debit card and spending over $2000 dollars.

According to BDF Jose Hun he lost his visa debit card on Wednesday and reported that about $2,115.32 was missing from his account. Police found 4 invoices and slips with what appeared to be Hun's signature, but when the signatures were shown to him, he said he had not signed for any of the transactions. Apparently Haylock found the card in Green Jades Restaurant on Poinsettia Street and used it to buy items for his son and himself then to throw a party for his friend. Haylock pleaded guilty and said that he told Hun that he would pay him back all the money he spent but that the authorities wanted him to pay more.

He was sentenced to four two year terms for the forgery please but they will run concurrently, so he will only serve two years.
