An on-site autopsy was completed by Dr. Mario Estradabran this afternoon, but nothing conclusive was found. This evening, we spoke with the Police Public Relations Coordinator Douglas Hyde about what information they have at this time and how you can help.

"Police received information at 1:30 today, some human bones were found half miles from Maruba Resort about 100 feet off the road where garbage is thrown and the body seems to be partially burned. Dr. Estradabran has done a post mortem on the human bones and the results were inconclusive. The results have also indicated that the bones have been there about a little a year or less than a year."

"Have you guys been able to follow any leads as to who this individual might be?"

Douglas Hyde - Police Press Officer
"Based on the information received from Dr. Estradabran, we have also called in the recent missing persons, their families to come and identify more or less the body or the bones along with the remains that were there to see if it is the persons that were missing and so far the recent missing persons have not been the persons identify with these remains that were there."

"At this time how are police treating it sir?"

Douglas Hyde - Police Press Officer
"Based on the results which is inconclusive, the police is treating this as a serious matter. It is human bones and so we will, based on the evidence that are found there, we will look at whatever information we can find with the bones that there likewise."

"Sir, did Dr. Estradabran make any comments as to the burning of the body?"

Douglas Hyde - Police Press Officer
"No, he did not. More or less as I've said it's inconclusive and more or less the information that was passed on to the police those are what we are going on with in terms of the investigation."

"After trying to track down the family members of the latest missing persons, what other step will the investigators take sir?"

Douglas Hyde - Police Press Officer
"What we've done is the recent missing persons; that include the chairman on Hattieville, we've call and communicated with his family and likewise the recent persons there. We will now extend to persons who has been missing likewise as I said with the results a little under or over a year likewise. We will be bringing persons like that to try to identify with the remains that were found."

"How can the public assist if they are interested?"

"What we will do is share more of the information as the information is passed on to us, we will share with the general public of what we find with the results of Dr. Estradabran likewise."

"Did the investigators notice anything which strikes them as important the area which the body was found?"

Douglas Hyde - Police Press Officer
"As I said the case is under investigation and yes there are stuff that were found and these were also noted in terms of the investigation."

Police are asking persons who have had loved ones missing for a year or more to come in and help them identify the remains.
